Can you explain the finish options for the custom labels?

Enhance your labels with the perfect finish to match your brand’s style and functionality:

  • Soft Touch Matte Laminate – Provides a luxurious, velvety texture, ideal for premium products.
  • Matte Laminate – Delivers a subtle, professional look, reducing glare for a refined appearance.
  • Gloss Laminate – Enhances color vibrancy, making designs bold and eye-catching.
How are labels applied by hand and by machine?
  • Hand Application – Perfect for small batches or uniquely shaped items, allowing for precise, flexible placement by manually applying each label.
  • Machine Application – Best for large-scale production, using automated equipment to apply labels quickly and consistently. The machine ensures uniform alignment for a professional, polished look across all products.
What is the label unwind direction, and why is it important?
  • Unwind direction refers to the orientation of labels as they come off the roll, which is essential for machine application. It determines how the labels are fed into the machine and aligned with the product.

Choosing the correct unwind direction ensures precise application, preventing misalignment or errors during labeling.

How should I set up my file if I am using Photoshop?

Are there any special considerations for printing on the Clear Label Stock?
  • Best Colors for Clear Material – Black ink and dark colors provide the best visibility and contrast. Lighter colors often appear too transparent, as they typically rely on a white base layer for opacity.
  • Design Considerations – Photos, gradients, and fine details do not print the same way on clear material as they do on opaque stocks. For best results, use solid vector shapes and bold, dark fonts.
  • Using Light Colors on Clear Stock – To achieve lighter colors, an opaque white ink layer must be printed first, followed by the design on top. If your design requires CMYK + White, our team will perform an additional inspection to ensure proper setup.
