Custom Hang Tags FAQs
Bleed is extra artwork that extends past the edge of the tag so your design prints cleanly right to the trim line. Safe area is the “safe zone” inside the edge where important content should stay to avoid getting cut off.
We recommend:
- Bleed: 0.125” (3mm) beyond the cut line
- Safe area: keep text/logos at least 0.125” (3mm) inside the cut line
This ensures your hang tags look clean, professional, and perfectly aligned after trimming.
For the best print quality, we recommend uploading a vector PDF (preferred) or AI/EPS file with all text converted to outlines. If you’re uploading a raster file, use PNG/JPG at 300 DPI at the final print size.
Tip: Include 0.125” (3mm) bleed and keep important text/logos inside a safe area so nothing gets trimmed off.
Choose the perfect placement for your circular drill hole to match your hang tag’s design and orientation.
- Portrait Hang Tags: Available in Top Center, Top Right Corner, or Top Left Corner.
- Landscape Hang Tags: Can be placed in the Top Right or Top Left Corner.
- Center Drill Option: Positioned on the left or right side, depending on your artwork’s orientation
The minimum order quantity is 100 due to the set-up costs involved in production. Ordering fewer than 100 would result in the same production cost, making 100 the most cost-effective option.
